This policy explains what personal information is collected on gonzalonunez.ca, why, and how you can exercise your rights, in accordance with Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector.
Person in charge
This site belongs to Gonzalo Núñez, real estate broker (courtier immobilier) at The Agency Montréal (Québec, Canada), who is the person in charge of protecting the personal information collected here. For any question or request: WhatsApp at +1 514 625 3872 or the contact form on this site.
What is collected
Only what you give us: your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, and anything you write in the contact form, the visit request or the chat (for example the area you’re interested in, your budget or your timeline). This site never asks for sensitive information or identity documents.
How it is used
To answer your enquiry, organize the visit you requested and follow up on your real estate project. If you leave your email, you receive an automatic acknowledgement. Your information is never sold, never shared with third parties for commercial purposes and never used for mass mailings.
The virtual assistant (Greg)
The chat is handled by Greg, an automated virtual assistant, not a person: it follows a script of questions and does not use artificial intelligence. Your answers and the details you share there are sent to Gonzalo so you can be contacted.
Where it is stored and who can see it
Requests are stored on the server that hosts this site (Hostinger) and sent by email to Gonzalo through an email delivery service (Resend); they may also be recorded in the client management system used by the team. Only Gonzalo and the people who help serve the clients have access. These providers may process information outside Québec, elsewhere in Canada or in other countries such as the United States. Reasonable security measures are in place: encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted server access.
How long it is kept
Your information is kept for as long as it is useful to handle your request and follow up on the relationship, and no longer than three years after the last contact, unless the law or the rules governing real estate brokerage require a longer period.
Your rights
You may at any time ask to access your information, have it corrected, withdraw your consent or have it deleted, and receive it in a structured format. You will get an answer within 30 days at most. If you are not satisfied with it, you can file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
Cookies and local storage
This site uses no advertising or analytics cookies. It only stores the language you chose in your browser. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your browser’s IP address.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with its date.
